Celebrating 37 Years of BIAs Across BC!
Join Us for BIA Week – April 13 to 19
This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate 37 years of BC Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) and the vibrant local businesses that make BC communities the places we love to eat, shop, explore and connect.
From small towns to city neighbourhoods, local businesses are the heart of our communities—and BIAs play a vital role in supporting them, through advocacy, street enhancements, promotions, community events and much more.
The collaboration between merchants, community members, and government has helped business areas across BC adapt to economic challenges and come out stronger together, as we continually strive to make positive impacts in the areas we serve.
Special thanks to Premier David Eby and Mayor Ken Sim and their teams, for BIA Week proclamations, and commemorating this occasion!
